Diamond Brite & Pool Resurfacing
Pool finishes wear out. Staining that will not brush out, rough patches underfoot, plaster showing through - that is a surface at the end of its life, not a chemistry problem.
What resurfacing involves
Drain, chip out the old finish, repair the shell where it needs it, re-bond, apply the new finish, then a careful startup - the brushing and chemistry over the first days matters as much as the application.
Tile, coping and waterline
Resurfacing is the moment to deal with loose tile and tired coping, because the pool is already down.

Questions we get asked
How long is the pool out of use?
Days rather than weeks for a straight resurface. Shell repairs found once it is drained can extend that.
Diamond Brite or plain plaster?
Plaster is cheaper up front. An aggregate finish like Diamond Brite generally lasts longer and hides wear better. Which is right depends on how long you plan to keep the house.
